Pink Ribbon Volley Raises Money to Fight Cancer

2021-22 Wausau East and Wausau West Volleyball Teams

K-tech Charities was proud to accept a generous donation from the Wausau West volleyball program which was generated from their annual Pink Ribbon Volley (formerly Volley for the Cure) match against Wausau East. This year the teams raised $11,606.33 which will go towards helping local patients being treated for cancer. The check was presented to Sue Kersemier and Craig Kersemier from K-tech Charities by team members from Wausau West on November 29th, 2021.

Wausau West Volleyball Coach; Paul Linzmeyer states, “The West and East volleyball programs would like to thank the community for their support of this wonderful cause! We would also like to thank K-tech Charities for their support of local families in need.”

Funds from this event will be combined with the proceeds from the annual Pink Ribbon Open held in June. The 18th Annual PRO held at Wausau Country Club in 2021 raised over $86,000. Along with the new check from this year’s volleyball match, the 18-year total is now over $800,000. To date, K-tech Charities has given 147 checks to area cancer patients.
